SS Marcala incident.
Project Blue Book "unidentified" case. UFO shaped like egg cut lengthwise, 50-100 feet above water. Wobbled as it flew, "sparkled in the sunlight." An unidentified object was sighted, that had an unusual appearance or performance. One ovoid object was observed by three male witnesses, typical age 38, on the ocean (Lewring). Hynek rating: DD: Daylight Discs Vallee rating: FB1: A simple sighting of a UFO traveling in a straight line across the sky. Vallee reliability rating: 333: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a reliable investigator with some experience; natural explanation requires major alteration of several parameters.
