Small disc size of car tire landed, revolving top. 12-yr.old boy tried to grab it, felt slick, hot to touch. Object emitted gas or spray, caused skin to turn red with welts. Took off toward northeast .
Physiological effects were reported. A witness later died. One blue-gray disc, about 2 feet across, less than a foot away, was observed by two male children on a river for over two minutes (Lightfood). A whistling sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE2: Close Encounters of the Second Kind Vallee rating: CE5: CE4 which results in permanent psychological injuries or death.
