In early August 1948 Morning Pacific 
Everyone on airliner saw huge, metallic cigar shaped object to the south, make 90 degree turn into clouds.
A cigar-shaped object was observed. One metallic cigar-shaped object, of huge size, was observed in cloudy weather by a male witness on the ocean for 30 seconds (Simon).
