Miners incident. Explanation: Hoax.
Miners saw object land 3km north of Green Ridge. railroad night operator saw man emerge to repair machine. Traces found. to the north. An object was observed. Traces found. One elongated object was observed by numerous male witnesses, one of them an experienced observor, in a forest for over 15 minutes (McCramer; Meriwether; Metcalf; Street, W; Teeples; Thacker).
