La Bacchante incident.
Nautical UFO. two sons of Prince of Wales, one the future king of England, were aboard ship "La Bacchante" when object resembling lighted ship was seen. "a phantom vessel all aglow". An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One object was observed by two male witnesses on the ocean for two minutes. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
