Procession of objects prior to an earthquake: "terrible tempests" over and over -- "falls of hail" and "brilliant meteors," instance after instance -- "an immense globe,"
Unidentified objects were sighted, but with appearance and behavior that most likely would have a conventional explanation. Physiological effects were noted.
