Russian AF incident.
Jets scrambled after radar bogey. Pilots saw two cigars, one two km long and one 400 m long. Objects moved horizontally at great speed. Ground and air radar contact. Objects were tracked by radar and sighted visually. Two cigar-shaped objects, about 1500 feet across, were observed by a male military witness in a warplane for 20 minutes.
