Mist from rear of object looked like "lit up snowflakes". Rim around bottom with red windows all around, red light shone through windows.
A flying disc was observed. Multiple independent witnesses. One red domed disc, about 40 feet across, was observed by three female witnesses, typical age 17, on a river for seven minutes (Utt, Tammy). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area. Vallee reliability rating: 344: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a skilled analyst; no natural explanation possible, given the evidence.
