Cessna 172 incident.
Aerial encounter with "modified half-sphere, with the flat side down", approached plane head on and passed quickly to left, below airplane. Speed estimated 1200 mph. An object was observed. It buzzed a witness. One dome-shaped object was observed by two witnesses, a married couple, in-flight for a few seconds (Henderson, Robert and Nann). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area. Vallee reliability rating: 332: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a reliable investigator with some experience; natural explanation requires major alteration of one parameter.
