Four luminous figures on top of low-hovering UFO. One waved in apparent response to wave from witnesses. UFO wobbled in apparent response to flashlight signals.
A hovering object emitting a blue beam was observed. Occupants of the craft were seen. One orange disc, about 40 feet across, was observed in overcast weather by many male witnesses, typical age 31, on the shore for three hours (Gill; Greenwood). A noise was heard. Four humanoids, each wearing a luminous suit, were seen. Hynek rating: CE3: Close Encounters of the Third Kind (Entity reports) Vallee rating: CE3: Entities have been observed on the UFO. Vallee reliability rating: 433: Firsthand personal interview with the witness by a source of proven reliability; site visit by a reliable investigator with some experience; natural explanation requires major alteration of several parameters.
