Disappearance, electromagnetic effects, aerial encounter with maneuvering metallic object with green light. Scraping metal sound over open microphone last sound heard before disappearance.
Electromagnetic effects were noted. One metallic oblong object, larger than a star, was observed in clear weather by one male 20-year-old witness on the ocean for over six minutes (McNiece; Morgan; Mortimer; Petersen; Valentich). A scraping sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE4: Close Encounters of the Fourth Kind (Abductions) Vallee rating: CE5: CE4 which results in permanent psychological injuries or death.
