Engineer sees 100 feet delta shaped UFO repeatedly probe lake surface with red beam of light. Every time car passed lights went out.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One dark triangle, about 150 feet across, around 300 feet away, was observed by one experienced male witness at a lake for over 15 minutes (Cooke). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops.
