Apparitions or ghost lights. three men in a boat "saw two lights arise out of the water.in form like a man." Visible 15 minutes. Apparitions sailed toward Boston, then vanished.
Unidentified objects were sighted, but with appearance and behavior that most likely would have a conventional explanation. Two lights were observed by three male witnesses on the ocean for over 15 minutes (Everell). Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights Vallee rating: AN1: Anomalies which have no lasting physical effects. i.e. amorphous lights, unexplained explosions.
