9 May 1980 Around 2100 Bargersville, Indiana, USA 
Red balls of light size of lemons climbed up, across, down telephone lines, then up another pole. Dog whined and barked. Red balls of light moved across woman's back and hair.
Objects were sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. Three red balls were observed in clear weather by four female witnesses, typical age 31, on a road for 30 minutes. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
