Occupants. Explanation: Moon.
A hovering object was observed. Occupants of the craft were seen. Multiple independent witnesses. One object was observed by one female 65-year-old witness in a bedroom for several hours (Richardson; Thomas). Nellie Richardson, 65, was awakened by a loud bang. She got out of bed and saw a brilliant yellow-glowing object hovering outside the window, the apparent size of a 9" diameter plate at 10 ft distance. It moved toward her and became orange in color. After she had watched the object for over an hour it began to move away; at this time she saw two shadowy figures moving about, silhouetted against the glow.
