549th NFS P-61B incident.
Ground control radar tracked target at 18 to 8 miles distance. P-61 gunner saw yellow light like a star approach and lose altitude. Radar contact was lost. Gunner saw another light, but no AI contact. An object was tracked by radar and sighted visually. One yellow light was observed by one experienced male military witness in a warplane.
