Three bright discs at 18,000 feet altitude. Search sky with light beam. Rise vertically. Explanation: Meteor.
Objects were observed. They departed by rapidly flying straight up until lost to sight. Three discs were observed by several witnesses for over 15 minutes (Wells). Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops.
