Couple awoke to siren sound, saw glowing orange-yellow UFO 20 feet above neighbor's house. Dogs barked. UFO, size of Winnebago, had two beams of light on bottom. Crossed power lines, to the east to nuclear plant.
An object was observed. Animal reactions to the object were reported. One orange disc, about 20 feet across, was observed by two witnesses, a married couple, near a nuclear test site for five minutes (Ruppe, W). A high-pitched sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
