On top of mound, off to side of road, was bright, luminous cigar-shaped object, 4' tall, had portholes with lights streaming from them. Car halted, witness covered eyes from being blinded for several minutes.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One luminous cigar-shaped object, about 5 feet across, was observed by one experienced male witness on a road for a few seconds (Robert, J). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
