In October 1936 Evening Eklutna, Alaska, USA 
Two men hitchhiking to Anchorage witness a very bright light approaching their location at high speed. The object hovers above them, causing them to dive into a snow bank to escape.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One object was observed by two experienced male witnesses on a road. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
