Sightings near 40 N x 70 E

25 October 1988 Night - Alma Ata, Kazakhstan -   Thin 2500m needle-shaped object at 45 degree angle, light beams down and rear.

29 May 1990 08:45 - Frunze, Kyrgyzstan -   Disc landed by garage. one 3m tall giant and 6 short humanoids exit craft via ladder, gather samples of oil and soil.

21 September 1990 17:30 - Frunze, Kyrgyzstan -   Police and militia follow Saturn-shaped UFO with shining ports on rim, near Frunze, Kyrgistan. UFO seemed to rotate, emitted coherent cone of yellow light. Set fire to meadow, four burned spots of 135' diameter

24 July 1996 04:50 - Alma Ata, Kazakhstan -   An object was observed. Electromagnetic effects were noted. One fireball was observed by military witnesses on a highway (Dobrinin).
