In April 1957 22:00 - Tessalit S, Mali -   Viewed through theodolite. 5 small balls orbit large sphere on 45 degree plane at .5 rpm.

28 September 1968 22:00 - Niamey, Nigeria -   Nocturnal lights were reported in a residential area.

29 March 1974 01:45 - Lome E, Togo -   Physiological and healing effects were reported. One multi-colored cylinder, about 80 feet across, around 500 feet away, was observed in clear weather by two experienced witnesses on the shore for 20 minutes. A high-pitched sound was heard.
