3 August 1952 15:00 - Puna Island, Ecuador -   SS Santa Lucia incident.

16 July 1954 Night - Piura, Peru -   An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. An unidentifiable object was observed at close range.

16 January 1955 13:00 - Talara, Peru -   Pilot incident.

9 January 1962 - ESE, Pacific -   A meteor-like object was observed. Nocturnal lights were observed by military witnesses. Explanation: Meteor.

30 December 1966 03:03 - Lima, Peru -   Canadian Pacific Airlines incident. Two luminous discs, the size of the moon, paced an airliner in clear weather at 35,000 feet for seven minutes, emitting light beams up, then down, before shooting away. Official explanation: satellite re-entry.
