19 May 1986 - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil -   Major radar and visual sightings; case involving seven aircraft

19 May 1986 18:30 - Sao Paulo, Brazil -   Radar visual confirmation of huge objects. Jets chase, multiple radar trackings.

19 May 1986 22:00 - Sao Paulo, Brazil -   Three hour wave of discs. Jets scrambled, multiple radar trackings and many observers. Seen widely.

19 May 1986 22:55 - Sierra.Manchiqueira, Brazil -   Brazilian AF F-5E incident.

13 August 1986 00:30 - Syracuse, Ohio, USA -   ATC and two others witness Red-Green-White nocturnal lights flash for 45 minutes. Airport: radar confirmation, hovers and maneuvers.

17 November 1986 - Alaska, USA -   JAL Flight 1628 sights Saturn-shaped object, also tracked on radar.

17 November 1986 17:11 - Fort Yukon, Alaska, USA -   JAL 1628 incident.

25 November 1986 20:50 - Magadan, Russia -   Radar target passes close to airliner, turned right, over Shelekhov Bay, top speed of 3000kph over Kamchatka shore, lost from radar screens 150km off shore.
