10 July 1948 Around midnight - Santa Maria Apt, Atlantic -   Electromagnetic effect: all clocks in airport stopped working when white, cylinder-shaped UFO passed over at 12,000 feet altitude. Many witnesses.

11 August 1948 12:00 - Hamel, Minnesota, USA -   Two boys playing outside saw dull gray, round object, 70cm diameter, 30cm thick, landed like balloon with metallic noise, maneuvered to avoid telephone lines, moving northeast. Depression on ground 70cm diameter.
