27 February 1948 19:10 - Lockbourne Afb, Ohio, USA -   Part 2 incident.

In Spring 1948 03:00 - Greensboro, North Carolina, USA -   Flying discs were observed. Three discs, about 40 feet across, were observed by one experienced male witness at an electric plant for two minutes (Manual).

In May 1948 17:30 - Barrow.Humber, UK -   An object was observed. It buzzed a witness. One object was observed (Pearceson).

28 May 1948 15:00 - Monroe, Michigan, USA -   USAF incident. Explanation: Reflection.

In June 1948 - Galveston, Texas, USA -   An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. An unidentifiable object was observed at close range (Corder). Explanation: Hoax.

In June 1948 - Howe, Idaho, USA -   An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. An unidentified object at close range was observed by one male witness near a nuclear test site (Solem).

In July 1948 02:45 - Montgomery Sw20M, Alabama, USA -   An object was observed. It buzzed a witness. One object was observed by three witnesses (Chiles).

In Mid- 1948 Night - Poynette, Wisconsin, USA -   40 feet diameter silver colored disc paced car, came within a few feet. When another car came along the object ascended several hundred feet, then hovered. Circular rim spun around middle portion.

13 July 1948 - Concord, Massachusetts, USA -   An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One object was observed by one experienced male witness (Vaughan, Dr C).

24 July 1948 02:45 - Virginia , USA -   EAL incident. Explanation: Meteor.

In August 1948 - Longview, Texas, USA -   An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. An object was observed at close range by a female witness (Gregg, D).

29 August 1948 05:03 - Maplewood, Ohio, USA -   Large silvery sphere dropping a silvery substance. Explanation: Natural.

In September 1948 09:45 - Albuquerque Sw, New Mexico, USA -   Objects were sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. Two objects were observed by one witness for 30 seconds (Resseguie).

15 October 1948 05:20 - Norfolk, Atlantic -   Bright nearly moon-shaped object with distinct bright center. Explanation: Mars.

3 November 1948 22:00 - Vaughn, New Mexico, USA -   White round object larger than basketball, 10 miles east of Vaughn, New Mexico. Explanation: Flare.

23 November 1948 22:00 - Vaughn, New Mexico, USA -   Colonel Hayes observes ball of light, descending vertically, which burst 100-200 feet from the ground. Explanation: Flare.

In 1949 Night - Boone County Apt, Kentucky, USA -   An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One object was observed by two witnesses at an airport.

30 December 1948 16:00 - Atoka, Oklahoma, USA -   An object was observed from a car. One object, about 1 foot across, was observed in clear weather by one experienced male witness for a few seconds (Tinnin).
